West Toledo LGBTQ+ Pride Events, Businesses, Services, and Community Guide
Pride belongs across Toledo. Pride on the West Side is a growing community project created to connect LGBTQ+ Pride events, inclusive businesses, local services, performers, restaurants, bars, organizations, and neighbors across West Toledo.
The goal is simple. We want more places to participate in Pride season. We want more people to feel welcome. We want more businesses and community members to have a way to be involved. Pride is not limited to one street, one weekend, or one event. It can live in neighborhood bars, restaurants, patios, shops, stages, services, community spaces, and local gatherings.
What Is Pride on the West Side?
Pride on the West Side is a community guide and event network for West Toledo. It helps people find LGBTQ+ friendly events, businesses, restaurants, bars, services, and gathering places during Pride season and beyond. It also gives local businesses and community members a way to take part.
A business might host a Pride event.
A restaurant might offer a Pride special.
A performer might want to book a show.
A service provider might want to support the community.
A volunteer might want to help organize.
A sponsor might want to support the project.
Pride on the West Side is here to connect those pieces.
The Goal
The goal of Pride on the West Side is to build a visible, welcoming, and connected Pride presence in West Toledo. We want to:
- Support LGBTQ+ visibility in West Toledo
- Help inclusive businesses be seen
- Create more Pride events beyond downtown
- Connect bars, restaurants, shops, performers, and service providers
- Give residents more ways to celebrate Pride locally
- Build community before, during, and after Pride weekend
- Make Pride feel accessible to more people
This is not about replacing any existing Pride event. It is about adding more places, more voices, and more opportunities.
Who Can Be Involved?
Pride on the West Side is open to many kinds of participants.
Businesses can get involved.
Bars and restaurants can get involved.
Performers can get involved.
Service providers can get involved.
Community organizations can get involved.
Volunteers can get involved.
Neighbors and allies can get involved.
You do not have to be an LGBTQ+ owned business to participate. You do need to be welcoming, respectful, and supportive of the LGBTQ+ community.
Ways to Participate
There are many ways to be part of Pride on the West Side.
You can host an event.
You can offer a Pride special.
You can sponsor an activity.
You can provide a service.
You can perform.
You can volunteer.
You can share resources.
You can list your business as LGBTQ+ friendly.
You can help spread the word.
Every participant does not need to do the same thing. The strength of this project is that many different places and people can contribute in their own way.

Are you interested in being part of Pride on the West Side? You can participate as a business, event host, performer, sponsor, volunteer, service provider, or community supporter. Pride on the West Side is also interested in working with local West Toledo and Trilby-area businesses that want to be part of a welcoming community network.
